Re: Keystone: Axing pipeline would weaken important Canada-U.S. relationship, Kenney says” (Jan. 18)

Canada would look foolish to start its relationship with the new president by asking him to reverse his own opposition of Keystone, when vice-president to Barack Obama. Even worse is the claim of the Canadian ambassador to the U.S., Kirsten Hallman, that we can reverse the laws of nature. She asserted that the energy sector in Canada would be developed “safely, sustainably and responsibly”! A well-tended cabbage patch would be sustainable, but the bitumen patch? She should look up “fossil fuels.”
